Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Supervisor to join our team. As an LCSW Supervisor, you will provide clinical supervision, guidance, and support to a team of MSW interns who are completing their field placements. You will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of our social work services, while also promoting the professional development of our interns. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, extensive knowledge of social work practice, and a passion for mentorship and supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision to MSW interns, including individual and group supervision sessions.
- Guide and support interns in the development and implementation of effective treatment plans for program participants.
- Conduct regular case consultations and reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and ethical standards.
- Assist interns in the assessment and diagnosis of mental health conditions and the provision of evidence-based interventions.
- Monitor and evaluate interns' clinical skills and competencies, providing constructive feedback and guidance for growth.
- Collaborate with interns to develop and implement intervention strategies that address the complex needs of program participants.
- Promote a supportive and learning-oriented environment for interns, encouraging their professional growth and self-reflection.
- Stay up-to-date with current research, trends, and best practices in the field of clinical social work.
- Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and ethical guidelines for clinical social work practice.
- Collaborate with the Director of Social Services and other supervisors to coordinate and integrate services within the organization.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid LCSW license in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-licensure experience in clinical social work.
- Proven experience in providing clinical supervision to social work interns or professionals.
- Comprehensive knowledge of social work theories, interventions, and evidence-based practices.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing social work practice.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to develop effective treatment plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish a supportive supervisory relationship.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback, guidance, and support to interns.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
- Proficiency in electronic documentation systems and basic computer skills.
