Job Title: Program Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Program Coordinator to join our team at. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of our programs and services for individuals experiencing homelessness. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social services and a commitment to improving the lives of those in need.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the implementation of program activities, ensuring they align with the organization's mission and objectives.
  • Develop program timelines, work plans, and schedules to ensure smooth program operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, community partners, and volunteers to ensure effective program delivery.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Conduct regular meetings and training sessions to ensure all program staff and volunteers are informed and equipped to carry out their responsibilities.
  • Monitor program progress and outcomes, collecting and analyzing data to assess program effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain program documentation, including policies, procedures, and program manuals.
  • Assist in the development and management of program budgets, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately.
  • Collaborate with the fundraising team to identify and secure funding opportunities to support program initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, organizations, and government agencies to enhance program effectiveness and expand resources.
  • Provide support and guidance to program participants, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in program coordination and social services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in program coordination or a related role, preferably in a nonprofit or social services setting.
  • Knowledge of social services, homelessness issues, and community resources.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to supervise and motivate staff and volunteers.
  • Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of budget management and resource allocation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for the position).
